History

On October 4, 2014 we were invited by a brother to go on an adventure. So we decided to go on this adventure which lead us to a pizza store with 10 boxes of pizza in hand.  There was bout 10 of us and we headed to George Street to hand out pizza and clothes.  Two sisters gave a female addict a rose for they had talked to her a week prior and they started to pray for her.  The other brothers started talking to others about the Gospel.  It was a real eye-opening experience for we didn’t know there was a place like this in Toronto.  It was filled with addicts, alcoholics, drug dealers and prostitutes.

We decided to go out again for Thanksgiving, October 13, 2014.  This day really pricked something in our hearts for the lost and weary.

After much praying and having the fire in our hearts, on November 2, 2014 was the official launch for Sunday’s at Seaton.  We did not know what we were doing but obeyed God’s calling for our lives.  We remained faithful in God’s command for us to evangelize the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  So every Sunday you could find us in front of Seaton House from 2:30pm giving out coffee, clothes, bibles, etc., and talking to people about the love of God.  Through the blistering cold months in Toronto, we persevered.

On April 17, 2015, God opened the door for us at Seaton House.  We had a prayer meeting that day to pray for the space and the people that would come.  The following Friday we had our first church service in a city run place, a place where many ministries tried to get in but could not.  It was God’s hand that opened the doors for us to preach the Good News!  Now we have service every Friday for the men of Seaton house.

Now we have other days of street outreach, realizing the real need of the city of Toronto, to find out about the weekly and special events, please visit our event page.
