This story was written by Paul who we know from the corner of Yonge & Dundas. He is a servant of the Lord and can be found in that area most days of the week, handing out tracts, sharing the gospel, and encouraging other believers. I pray that you’ll be blessed and encouraged by this story
On Sunday I was handing out tracts titled “Love”.
A young man in his mid 20’s came up to me and took a tract. As soon as he read the word Love he started crying heavily. He hugged me and said,
He was telling me something about his mom but I couldn’t quite understand him. The only thing I could do was hold his hand and then hug him. He rested his head on my shoulder and cried. I had just enough time to tell him the sweet words,
“God loves you. Jesus loves you.”
He nodded yes.
I told him to read the tract and he left right away.
I think so.
The Lord has his ways of reaching the broken hearted.
Is it worth it to stand outside on a cold windy day handing out tracts?
A million times YES just to tell a hurting man,
“Jesus loves you.”
I am truly blessed that the Master has found some work for me to do for Him.
How will the Lord show his compassion, mercy and love for this world? How will He share His message of repent and follow me?
We are his hands, his feet and his body.
Make yourself available.
Simply cry out,
“Here I am Lord, use me.”
